Ninja 2QT Mini Air Fryer

The Ninja 2 QT Mini Air Fryer was my 2nd project where I was the lead design engineer. The product was the first analog product from Ninja and its air fryer line up.  The goal of the project to create a super efficient and easy to learn air fryer for users who only cook smaller portions and don't want to take up a lot of counter space.

Project Roles

NPD/R&D

  • Led CAD reviews and communicated CAD updates to engineers in China for each prototype build

  • Led testing through all prototype stages for optimal cooking performance and all compliance certification

  • Led cost down initiatives in order to achieve target FOB cost 

  • Provided weekly updates to executive leadership team

  • Communicated cross functionally and globally by leading global huddles and sending out weekly updates to keep the team on track to MP

  • Completed entire product development cycle within 7 months
